Description
Telemetry Application Developer needed to develop DOCSIS network telemetry applications. The developer would work on a large project team that develops and supports current toolsets. The type of custom development is focused on a national dashboard that will provide reliability statistics for all networks (DOCSIS, Data, and Telephony

Experience/Skills
1. Review existing requirements documents. Interview end users and development staff to gather additional requirements for the dashboard.
2. Design and develop databases, data transfers, and spec UI requirements. Work with other team members as needed on design, development and deployment.
3. Make required updates to technical design documentation.
4. Assist with the performance tuning of mySQL and PHP.
5. Work with business analysts and functional resources to troubleshoot application issues as development proceeds.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 3-4 years experience in PHP and/or Perl.
2. DOCSIS/Telco industry experience (any)
3. Understanding of database and mySQL performance tuning concepts.
4. 2+ years of Data Warehouse experience
5. 2+ years of ETL.
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
7. Team player with strong analytical skills.
