Territory Sales Manager for Service Provider (SP), Managed Service Provider (MSP), Software As A Service (SaaS), Value Added Reseller (VAR), System Integrator (SI) North America
Summary or purpose of objective
COMPANY is the leading provider of management software for Unified Communications and Collaboration infrastructure. COMPANY products are used by service providers and enterprises worldwide to accelerate and enable deployment of integrated solutions, simplify and automate secure management of complex environments, and increase user and IT productivity. This position reports to the Sales Director/CEO.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, self-starter willing and able to efficiently cultivate and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact, including cold calls to close. The candidate must have a successful and verifiable track record in meeting sales targets in the enterprise software industry.
Major Responsibilities/Tasks:
Cold Call new customers to sell COMPANY products
Recruit new channel partners to sell MSP, SP, SI, SaaS, VAR products
Interact with customer prospects and provide product information
Manage sales process using CRM
Meet quota in assigned region
Target account selling
Provide customer based feedback and ideas to management
Participate in Company Trade Show events
Minimum required experience/qualification:
MSP, SP, SaaS, SI, VAR software sales experience in IT industry
5+ years in sales
3+ years channel sales management experience
Inventive and effective approach to selling
Exhibits a positive attitude toward the company, distributors and resellers
Required travel: limited
Rolodex of IT Distributors and Resellers for MSP, SP & SIs a plus
BS or equivalent
Professional sales training is desirable
Compensation:
OTE $100-$140k based on Experience
