Test Architect (top tier consulting, travel) - CJ0611-SDTA

• Work primarily in the Technology vertical, initially reporting to the Testing Center of Excellence.
• Support business development efforts by participating in sales calls and presenting Testing Services capabilities; scoping new Testing Services opportunities; driving proposal efforts with offshore counterparts; engaging with and bringing-in the appropriate offshore team members
• Manage onsite resource allocations through coordination with the Testing Services resource management function and account management teams.
• Actively participate in onsite recruiting efforts.
• Achieve 50% billability through active participation in early-stage/*quick start* initiatives and test process consulting engagements.
• Build and manage relationships with Offshore Vertical Test Managers.
• Conduct and/or participate in regular onsite delivery assurance sessions.
• Provide direct management and leadership to onsite testing resources; conduct annual reviews for some onsite resources.
• Actively engage with onsite project teams to foster the onsite testing community.
• Participate in industry events and other market-facing activities

Required Skills:

• Software Testing Experience in a Hardware environment ( eg Cisco )
• Device Testing Experience ( eg, Logic type, Mobile )
• Product Testing Experience preferred
• Systems Development Life Cycle and Project Management Methodologies.

In- depth knowledge and experience in the following :

• COM+, ASP, Visual Basic, .NET, C/C++, Java/J2EE, RDBMS, MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, Unix, Linux, IBM Mainframe, Scripting, Internet Technologies, IBM WebSphere Suite ( Hosted on Mainframe a plus ), SOAP, XML.
• Testing Architecture Experience
• 8+ years of systems integration, software development, or IT experience with at least 3+ years in a consulting environment
• 3+ years of software quality assurance ( SQA ) experience in a leadership role
• Deep knowledge of SQA processes and methodologies
• Hand- on experience with at least one of the following categories of tools : Test Management, Test Automation, Performance Testing, Defect Management
• Prior experience working in an onsite/offshore model
• Strong test estimation skills
• Experience managing and leading teams
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Prior experience with sales and pre-sales support
• Experience in High Tech Industry
• BS in Computer Science or related field preferred, though not required.
• Must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time, with the possibility of relocation.
