TSS/CTO/Commercial IT is seeking a seasoned Performance Test Engineer / Quality Assurance professional responsible for participating in all phases of project delivery. The successful candidate may be assigned to multiple projects. Role will include identifying and realizing opportunities to introduce and improve test practices, particularly around performance testing. Responsibilities include the creation of test assets, including test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, as well as test execution, analysis, and reporting. In addition, the candidate will demonstrate solid communications, problem solving, and customer service skills and a strong ability to work in a team environment as a leader and a mentor.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology in large corporate or consulting environment, of those years at least 3 years focused on testing and/or quality assurance. At least two years direct experience with Mercury Interactive's LoadRunner and TestDirector software is a must. Must have the ability to function independently, and prioritize work from multiple concurrent projects. Hands-on experience creating and executing test plans. Excellent organizational, planning, and problem solving skills. Ability to collaborate with technology partners to ensure end-to-end quality of applications. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Background in systems integration and/or development. Exposure to the entire software development life cycle. Education: Undergraduate degree focused on Information Technology (CS, MIS, etc) is preferred.
