We have an immediate need for a Test Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
Great opportunity for a direct position for a Test Engineer with one of our clients in Melbourne, FL! Immediate need for a Test Engineer experienced in qualification of electronic hardware based upon written product specifications. Must be able to device and develop test plans, fixtures, and documentation for proprietary computer components and assemblies. This Test Engineer will work with Systems Engineers defining qualification requirements to meet customer specifications; will generate formal test procedures for qualification of computer systems to military environmental and EMC requirements; will coordinate testing activities and generate formal test reports for qualification of computer systems to military environmental and EMC requirements; and will prepare and submit all required documentation, software, and test fixture drawings to the CM database.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering along with five to ten years experience in product verification and compliance testing with computer testing preferred. Must be proficient with the use of Electronic Test Equipment, DOS, and Windows OS, and competent in the use of MS Office Software. Must have the ability for technical writing and innovative abilities. Experience with Mil-Spec qualification and Automated Test Software (LabView) a plus.
