One of our clients has the following immediate need:



Quality Assurance Test Lead (Automation, Performance Testing)

Contract to Hire

Location: Plano, TX

2 positions available



Essential Job Functions:


Write a comprehensive master test plans and create project plans for test planning and execution

Analyze business requirements for testability and decompose requirements into test conditions, cases, and scripts, and enter into Quality Center.


Review test cases created by team members for accuracy.


Work closely with clients to create and execute UAT test plans


Create complex, reusable test data sets.


Participate in functional, regression, end-to-end, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure that requirements are met.


Develop reports in Quality Center (TestDirector).


Drive test deliverables on a project basis being responsive to schedule and quality requirements.


Implement test (verification and validation) practices, standards, and processes.






Required Qualifications:



5+ years of experience in all facets of Quality Assurance testing and UAT using HP/Mercury Interactive testing tool - Quality Center/Test Director

Prior experience as a Test Lead on medium to large sized projects

Experience working with Offshore development projects

Experience in gathering and reporting testing and quality metrics is required

Experience testing batch applications

Two years of hands on BPT (Business Process Testing) experience.

Knowledge of VB Script

Experience gathering and deriving performance test requirements designing Load Test scripts and scenarios

Experience with Load Runner or HP Performance Center
