Brief Job Description:
Provides oversight to all test leads and analysts on a given project. Participates in requirement definition and verifies that requirements are testable and provides preliminary recommendations for how each will be tested. Defines test phases and execution plans for each phase, ensuring that the methodology is applied appropriately. Acts as the primary point of contact for Development, Project Mangers, & Customers with regard to testing.

Experience Required:
  • Functional business experience with exposure to systems design and development.
  • Working knowledge of the business practices and internal systems processes/procedures.
  • Ability to manage and create a testing management plan, a testing schedule while working through the Project Manager to ensure accuracy to the overall project plan.
  • Ability to adjust performance quickly in response to reorganizations, strategy/priority changes and shifting customer needs.
  • Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical individuals at levels including senior management. Interactions may include educating, persuading and negotiating.
  • Ability to manage conflict without major disruption to work flow.
  • Ability to work directly with customers and communicate effectively regarding testing practices.
  • Minimum of 5 years testing experience.
  • Experience across multiple industries, and solutions.
  • Experience in execution of testing methodologies.

    Technical Skills Needed:
    1. Unix (3-5 years)- scrips and file structures
    2. Oracle - data warehouse structures
    3. SQL (3-5 years) - knowledge of PL/SQL (procedures, functions, etc.)
    4. Campaign Mgmt Tools - knowledge of design and how they work
    5. Reporting Tools - knowledge of multiple tools, design and how they work
