DUTIES >> 1.Execute test cases for RAID controller firmware/software on PC-based servers. 2.Report issues and progress on a daily basis to team lead. 3.Recreate issues and verify fixes with firmware/software. 4.Troubleshoot issues found with MegaRAID firmware/software. SKILLS >> 1. Hands on experience installing different operating systems on Intel based personal computers/servers. 2. Troubleshooting (hardware and software) experience with Intel-based personal computers. 3. Familiarity with the basic components of a personal computer. 4. Good communication skills, oral and written. 5. Quickly learns how to work with new hardware, software, and operating systems. 6. Quickly understands and follows instructions. 7. Works independently, self-driven. 8. Must be someone eager to learn new things, and can learn quickly. 9. Must be someone who can follow instructions. 10.Must be a self-starter, show initiative, work independently. 11.Ability to work overtime on weekdays and weekends as needed. 12.Must be able to install and use two or more Operating Systems for PCs. This could include Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Linux, Solaris, Netware, etc. (Different versions of Windows counts as one OS). 13.Must be comfortable troubleshooting issues with PC-based hardware and software. 14.Prefer experience with RAID, SCSI and SAS/SATA. EDUCATION >> B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.
