Description
Job Title: Software Test Automation Analyst



Test Automation Analyst will be expected to take on automated testing responsibilities at an accelerated pace and be able to code effective test scripts per system requirements. Candidate must have strong knowledge of software development life cycle and test automation methodologies, demonstrable experience in creating timely and useful reports, as well as effective and pro-active communication skills. Previous automated testing and programming skills are required. Capability of analyzing automation testing results and enhancing automation processes and strategies is a must. Strong problem-solving and leadership skills are desired. Responsibilities: Accurately schedule and perform test automation project assignments, identify, reproduce, document, and regress issues found. Effectively drive issues to resolution in a variety of challenging situations. Create professional and useful reports meeting the requirements of our customers. Develop and enhance automated testing processes and evaluate new tools' implementation. Work effectively with others in a team environment. Act as a SME and mentor for the automation projects. Desired Education, Experiences & Skills: Strong programming skills (2+ years) with one of the following: C, C++, Java, Visual Basic or C#. Must have hands-on experience in Mercury Test Director, WinRunner, QTP, or other commercial test management and automation tools. Strong knowledge in database/SQL (Oracle, SQL Server) queries; experienced with Win XP, UNIX, PERL, Jscript, ASP, XML, HTML is a plus. Must be capable of coordinating efforts with members of a cross-functional team to produce productive results and achieve the team goals and company goals. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with little or no supervision. Education minimum requirement: BS in CS (or equivalent work experience).
