Duties:
System Tester will be responsible for planning and performing testing of an enterprise level Web based application that integrates COTS and custom-developed components, as well as testing of related ETL processes. Responsible for crafting test plans and developing test cases for various phases of testing including functional/system, regression, load, performance, and acceptance testing. Responsible for creating and completing Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) document deliverables.

Job Duty 2 Plan testing activities for IDA Web based application and any related ETL processes. (25%)
Job Duty 3 Communicate testing results to team and customer. Create and maintain testing-related ELC documentation. (20%)
Job Duty 4 Understand the CI data and database structures in Microsoft SQL Server (10%)
Job Duty 5 Status reporting and communication within the team and customer. Communicate proactively with the project manager. (10%)
Must plan, manage, and execute test cycles for Web based application and related ETL processes. Must be familiar with relational databases. Must possess excellent communication and client interaction skills. Must be capable of defining a testing strategy that incorporates best practices and demonstrates attention to detail. Must have proficiency building test cases that use data selected from both simulated data and from raw customer data. Must have familiarity with effective change management practices, and with solution development within complex organizations. Should have familiarity with ELC methodology. Should have experience generating test data using either custom code or a COTS data generation tool. Experience with automation of testing is a plus.
