Description

Developer Technical Engineering Support for 3rd Party Solution Business Partner Providers

Provide escalated phone and e-mail support on current and obsolete printers to registered Solutions Business Partners (SBP) developers worldwide.
Provide support on LaserJet SDK's (Software Development Kit) including SDK consultation, resolving and triaging of developer issues.
Resolve to completion issues that have been escalated from 2nd tier support and continue to monitor solution.
Retain ownership and monitor progress with engineering teams once issues have been externally escalated.

Advanced Technical Engineering Support

Provide direct advanced support to the end user customer who is experiencing a problem where a 3rd party solution is installed.
Independently guide end users through troubleshooting procedures over the phone by troubleshooting printer, network, application, and other high-level technical issues.
Resolve advanced technical issues in a timely and satisfactory manner, ensuring that short and long term solutions are in place.
Continue to monitor issues that have been escalated to ensure customer solution is working long-term.

Trouble Ticket Processing and Management

All information gathered during support activities will be entered into a Web based database used to assist in handling future support sessions, to meet the report developer tools, and to meet reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Ability to manage multiple escalations concurrently and effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to relate well with customers and co-workers
Desirable Qualifications:

Knowledge of printing products, and 3rd party solutions
Experience with .NET and Java
