May perform one or more of the following:

Monitor network operations utilizing troubleshooting software and assist the client and other support teams with resolving any network connectivity issues or escalate to the appropriate specialist. Analyze connectivity problems, interpret testing results and determine if the client’s equipment/circuits, vendor connection lines or routers are the cause and initiate measures for prompt rectification. Coordinate network repairs and dispatch the appropriate vendor/specialist depending on the error determination. Assist vendors/specialists with network testing assignments and circuitry repairs designed to maximize operating capacity. Communicate with clients and support groups concerning scheduled maintenance and availabilities. Update and interface with the Help Desk and Executives on problem status.Serve as liaison between clients and vendors/specialists.
Preferred skills:
Demonstrated, in-depth, WAN / LAN support experience.

Experience in supporting complex WAN / LAN networks in a large, enterprise environment

Superior knowledge, skills & experience with working with carriers and a thorough understanding of different circuit types and strong troubleshooting experience.

Router, Switch and IP Configuration Experience is required.

Ability to work alone as an individual contributor, and as a participant in a team environment.

Positive, proactive, “can do” attitude.

Willingness to work after-hours (3rd shift) and weekends.

Bachelor’s degree/technical certification in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of Network Operations experience.
