Description
Position Summary:
Fortune 20 company with over $80 Billion in revenue is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to be responsible for the design, configure, tune and support Tivoli Configuration Manager/Inventory Manager product infrastructure and related software.

Job Description:
- Maintain Tivoli Configuration Manager/Inventory Manager within a high-availability and high volume environment
- Monitor run-time components, maintaining high performance and availability
- Partner with Configuration Management and Deployment Teams, developing distribution packages, managing data movement, and maintaining schedules
- Develop and maintain infrastructure wrapper scripts written in Perl
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to product infrastructure and related custom code
- Work with Technology Architecture Team on standards, product roadmap, and architecture decisions based on the enterprise blueprint
- Monitor and assess impact of related security patches and work with support team on recommendations
- Create, implement and assess necessary standards, procedures and guidelines needed to promote a productive development and run-time environment
- Provide 24 x 7 support as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience with Tivoli Configuration Manager and Tivoli Inventory Manager
- Development expertise in Perl and working knowledge of RedHat Package Manager
- Superior technical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to isolate and diagnose technical problems in a distributed enterprise environment
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, including the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to all levels of end usersdf-tc
