Description
CDI Corporation is seeking a skilled Tivoli Storage Manager Specialist in support of a large retail customer for the day to day operations of a TSM environment in Bentonville, AR. Daily responsibilities would include tape library management, TSM server/client management, performing restores per customer requirements, monitor nightly backups, monitor problem ticket queue, and monitoring TSM server health. Administrator would need to work with AIX, Linux, & Windows based TSM systems. Expert at administering TSM functions as well as troubleshooting complex issues where TSM, Windows, Linux (suse 10), and AIX might be involved. Individual would work prime shift, but must be available for change windows and rotating on-call pager/third shift rotation. Qualified applicants will possess the following skill sets and meet the following requirements:



Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Excellent Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills
Good Teaming skills
3+ years experience with Tivoli Storage Manager Administration (Server/Client)
1+ years of Linux (Suse 10) experience
1+ years of AIX support or administration experience
Windows
CBMR (Christie Bare Metal Restore) experience is highly desired
System X/P hardware (Blade/BladeCenter)
Shell Scripting
Good understanding of Networking & VLAN’sdf-tc
