Job Description:
* US citizenship is required, must have Top Secret w/active or current SSBI.*

The Signal Processing Software Engineer shall be responsible for analysing and assessing software development products and documentation produced during component development for a government customer to ensure they meet requirements and satisfy user needs. The software being developed is for a massive parallel processor.

The Signal Processing Software Engineer shall:
  • Perform SW requirements analysis
  • Perform interface and design assessments
  • Assess software strategies (product and process)
  • Evaluate software developer specifications and procedures for software qualification at various levels
  • Review technical program documentation
  • Provide expert advice to contractor and government team
  • Travel may be required to support TIM's and other technical meetings (25% of time)

Basic Qualifications for this position:

  • BS degree in computer science/engineering or closely related field
  • Experience with parallel processing techniques (SIMD/MIMD) in signal processing, radar or communications (modulation/demodulation) is required.
  • Ability to interact and effectively communicate with software developers and Navy personnel is required.
