DUTIES >> Summary The temporary QA Training Specialist assists the Technical Training department with training for business applications being rolled out in Oceanside as part of the integration of the site into existing Genentech quality systems. Included are systems for Discrepancy Management (Trackwise), Change Control (gECO), Electronic Documentation Management (NovaManage), Laboratory Information (LIMS), Inventory Management Systems (POMS) and possible others. This trainer may also be asked to assist Quality departments in documenting training requirements, preparing assessments and structuring curriculum for the Learning Management System, gLearn. Responsibilities Deliver training programs for the quality system business applications named above *Attend Train-the-Trainer, work with Subject Matter Experts and study materials to understand software navigation and business process *Work with Training Dept. and Quality staff to plan materials and schedule *Help prepare computer training room before classes to ensure correct hardware and software setup *Conduct training sessions *Ensure timely and accurate completion of training documentation *Recommend improvements to programs and processes and work with Technical Training team and client groups to implement improvements appropriate to current situation *Serve as an expert resource on the quality system applications to client groups Assist Quality departments in preparing training requirements matrixes, task-based qualifications and knowledge and performance-based assessments for the Learning Management System *Work with department managers or training designates to document requirements for job roles in Excel spreadsheets *Coach client groups in how to organize requirements into a task-based structure.
