Functional Description:
  • Provides cost-effective training and development of programs to maximize operations staff skills and knowledge of Florida KidCare program and Third Party Administrator software applications.
  • Designs and develops Training Plan, training modules and materials, training schedules, and directs the Trainer after hiring date
  • Coordinates with the client and with ACS staff to develop the training schedule
  • Works with operations leadership and system project manager to coordinate training content based on system design and defined operations processes, procedures, and work flows
  • Delivers training
  • Updates the Training Plan as necessary to reflect program changes, changes in operations policies and procedures, and updates to the quantifiable assessment criteria
  • Maintains and updates comprehensive training programs to ensure that performance standards are met in all operational units
  • Works with operations management team to evaluate and design staff
    performance/certification standards and requirements as they relate to training
  • Ensures employees complete training programs
  • Researches and develops course materials required for classroom training, including manuals, handouts, exercises, and quizzes and maintains a regular schedule to revise and update these materials
  • Maintains controls on training content updates within the learning management system
  • Prepares routine reports on training results
    Education and Typical Years Experience
    REQUIRED:
    (MINIMUM)
  • Four (4) year college degree (BA/BS) or year-for-year substitution of training management experience
  • Must be knowledgeable and experienced working in a production and technological oriented environment
  • Experience with design, development and delivery of training programs including training
    needs analysis, training evaluation and instructor evaluation.
  • Knowledge of principles of human behavior, learning, and communication
  • Experience with learning management system software applications and/or on-line training programs
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities.
  • Ability to take initiative, to meet deadlines, and work in a team environment
  • Direct staff management and responsibility for hiring and performance evaluation
  • Must be able to work independently and multitask despite frequent interruptions
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, specializing in MS Power Point and presentation skills
    Special Requirements
  • Prefer familiarity with SCHIP and/or Florida KidCare.
  • Prefer Experience training for an implementation or contract start up
  • Prefer Certification of Training or Human Resource Development from accredited college, university or training instit


  • Prefer Two (2) years of experience providing human resource development and trainingute
