Description
Primary Function

Lead and coach operations training team. Lead the development and execution of direct labor training program for site. Manage coordination of BSC Global Training Requirements and all other training deemed necessary at the site for both direct and indirect labor.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Identify and maintain a master list of all Training requirements for the site to include procedures, work instructions, and training courses
2. Create and maintain a complete training matrix identifying all training requirements (procedure, Work Instruction, course, elearning) for the facility as well as which employees need training based on their job responsibilities.
3. Develop and implement a training record system that drives 100% compliance to all training requirements.
4. Develop detailed training materials to assist with training as needed.
5. Develop and provide training to individuals and groups on how to follow procedures, locate information and comply with policy
6. Drive change to procedures through responsible groups that enable better compliance and more clarity.
7. Audit procedural compliance on a regular basis and identify associated training gaps.
8. Assist production management in providing an environment in which procedural and training compliance is an absolute.
9. Take an active role in the organization's learning and application of business tools such as Lean and Six Sigma.
10. Act as an on-the-job training consultant for production line managers, supervisors, trainers, product builders, and administrative functional areas.
11. Participate in or support cross-functional improvement initiatives.
12. Prepare materials for and facilitate Training Steering Committee meetings.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills
1. Good working knowledge of MS Office, able to use Office applications
2. General understanding of medical device regulatory environment or other FDA regulated industry.
3. Exceptional ability to train at different technical levels, understand detailed procedures and provide appropriate instruction
4. Strong interpersonal and facilitative skills to interact with various individuals and functions within the organization.

Experience
3 years directly related experience as a manufacturing or operations trainer


Preferred Experience

2 years experience in Medical Device Manufacturing preferred or
2 years experience in a highly regulated work environment

Education & Training
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience required to perform at this level.
Training certification a big plusdf-tc
