"
Provide credentials and qualification analysis support for the Credentials Program Office at the Center for Information Dominance, Corry Station, Pensacola, Florida. Support will include, but not be limited to: support and conduct analysis of Navy training programs for civilian certifications, qualification, licensure and apprenticeship training; provide evaluation of NPDC Learning Center and subordinate sites' training opportunities to expedite implementation of credentialing goals; investigate, analyze, and make recommendations on civilian training and education systems; liaise with appropriate NPDC Learning Centers to ensure that Navy training databases (NTMPS and CeTARS) are accurate and up-to-date; develop a process for records and general documentation tracking for certifications, qualifications, licensure and apprenticeships; analyze and provide recommendations for achieving the DoD 8570.1 Information Assurance certification requirements; perform analysis and provide written recommendations in support of establishing and defining the three phases of the Credentialing Opportunities OnLine (COOL) web site; provide training to the NPDC Learning Center's domain personnel on the Navy's credentialing strategy and implementation process; perform technical research and identify and coordinate with other DoD and federal government entities to promote information exchange and data and product sharing of government owned or provided services; initiate collaboration with local educators to identify specific needs associated with credentialing; and use sound instructional design principles and knowledge of educational technologies to analyze and adapt existing curriculum to improve instructional delivery leading towards credentialing.
Credentials analysis support personnel must have experience in attaining civilian credentials (certifications and qualifications) and the process of obtaining certification. A good understanding of the science of learning, education theory, integrated learning systems, and experience in methods for assessment of training processes and systems. Above average communications skills are required. Must be eligible for a SECRET security clearance. Experience in the medical field certifications is desired.
