Description
CDI IT Solutions is seeking TWO UNIX/AIX System Administrators for a long term 12+mos contract position.

Require two resources to work on an existing team that is providing UNIX-AIX and SUSE Linux for project/steady state support.

These additional SAs will have a major role providing UNIX and SUSE Linux steady state support.

Provide remote and on site UNIX administration support for end client with 200 plus servers mainly AIX with some SuSe Linux and HPUX and over 115 TB of SAN storage.

Support high profile customer applications, databases, and webservers running in midrange environment; such as e-Commerce, b2b Portal, Data Warehousing and Notes mail.

Participate on project teams for new applications requiring server builds and software installs.

Assist in annual disaster recovery effort for customer critical applications.

Provide support for critical infrastructure technologies such as NIM, Virtualization on Power5 and MPIO and procedures for firmware, OS, and device driver upgrades.

Responsible for ensuring security compliance for server builds and CIRATS.df-tc
