We have an immediate need for a UNIX Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description:

UNIX person onsite in Dallas, TX. AIX/HP and Linux OS skills. Peoplesoft skills and knowledge with Backup scripts. Need to have patching tools (up2date) any HP or Linux also with cluster skills.

Thorough applied technical knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with UNIX Operating Systems (Hardware, Software). Capable of performing installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning.

System Admin specialize in providing perform services to clients on hardware and software components. Activities include operation and maintenance of operating systems across multiple platforms, middleware applications, various database technologies, high availability solutions and load balancing. Job responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following: operation and maintenance of operating systems and platform support, database administration, capacity planning, performance management, security compliance. Support is also provided for systems management tools which monitor the operational status of the environment.
