Responsibilities:
* Perform qualitative user research; establish design personas and scenarios.
* Collaborate with strategy, marketing and the business to develop interface behavior and brand consistency across all products and services.
* Represent the needs of the user throughout discovery, design, and development; balance business needs and technical feasibility.
* Create and maintain documentation (vision statements, personas, scenarios, wireframes, task flows, etc.), for business, marketing and technology teams.
* Work closely with the User Interface designer, Editor, and Information Architect to evolve design specifications into useful and usable, goal-centered, brand consistent products.
* Participate in usability studies to evolve the CLIENTS interface to meet accessibility and usability standards.
Required Skills:. Ability to work within an established, goal-oriented design process
* Expert-level knowledge of interaction design, user interface design, and information architecture.
* The ability to promote design principles and methods without compromising project throughput 'Proven presentation, communication and organization skills; ability to work well with multi-disciplinary teams.
* Expert knowledge of interface design standards and best practices
* Knowledge of the financial industry is a plus.
* Online portfolio of recent work (mockups, specifications, guidelines).
