Established manufacturing company in SF Valley is looking for a programmer with strong Linux/Windows system administration experience. This position, could be either a full time or temp to perm opportunity. Candidate should have 3 yrs + experience programming in Universe (or Pick/D3 or Unidata ) and 2 yrs experience managing Line/Windows networks. Knowledge of Dataworks Dataflo is a plus. Candidate should be familiar with DNS, Samba, CUPS,SSH, Apache, PHP, Perl, DHCP, Sendmail, Squid, Tar, cron and other linux tools as well as managing windows clients including office suites, security and upgrades. Candidate will ideally be able to work on hardware or at least be sufficiently experienced to oversee the management of hardware (servers, workstations, network equipment, tape backup, etc).
