We are a fast growing firm looking to hire a talented Unix Administrator with Open View and Unix server administration experience. If this sounds like you and you also have an active Top Secret Clearance, then read on! This position will be located in Chantilly initially for 6 months or so and then be based in Quantico.

What you need to apply:

* Active Top secret clearance
* 3-5 years years as a Unix Server Administration ( Linux, SUN or AIX)
* Experience with OpenView, LAN/WAN, SNMP, XML
* Familiar with enterprise management tools (ie LMS, Cisco Works, Network Node Manager etc.)
* Sun Solaris Operating System support on Intel and Sparc architecture hardware
* Support of Linux and Solaris on x/86 architecture Servers
* Writing scripts

What you will be doing:

* Design, documentation, implementation, operational support
* Operating system software upgrades, operating system patch testing
* Deployment, and application migration support to the Unix family platforms.
* Responsible for network performance and capacity planning
* Use SNMP to configure monitoring tools
* Evaluate, install and maintain application status and performance
* Unix systems security administration and configuration, including mechanisms and methods to secure Unix-based Servers to meet stringent security requirements and reduce exposure to unauthorized access or exploitation
* Secure Unix-based systems to comply with certification and accreditation requirements, the ability to research, configure and apply appropriate security patches, and to disable services as needed to secure Unix-based Servers
