Unix Engineering Team Lead - KL-UE

Leading trading firm located in downtown seeking experienced Sr. Unix Engineer. Ideal candidate will have trading/financial industry background and experience with Linux, Solaris, NAS and NFS.

Duties:

• Linux/Solaris Architecture, administration, automated installation and performance tuning.


• NAS NFS storage Administration and Tuning


• Manage team of engineers


• Architect and implement fault tolerance systems


• Research and implement new technologies


• Create/maintain system documentation

Requirements:

• 5+ years minimum Linux/Solaris installation and administration


• System and network performance tuning as well as clustering


• High availability system setup and architecture


• SAN/NAS exposure


• Networking Architecture and troubleshooting


• Ability to manage multiple projects


• Excellent communication skills


• Relation database experience a plus
