Unix Storage Admin, Jacksonville, FL

Our client is searching for an Engineer to start immediately for a contract role that will run through the end of the year and may continue until March 2005. Responsibilities could also include technical assessments; implementation engineering; SAN support; technology planning; as well as technical documentation.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
3-5 years experience in storage systems
Unix storage admin focused on AIX
Solaris implementation
Some Linux is helpful
SAN experience
RAID storage experience
Documentation skills

Candidate must be self-starter willing and capable of working independently; have strong relationship skills; have excellent inter-personal skills (written and verbal communication); have strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skill; be a team player and work in high paced environment. Position will be based in downtown Jacksonville. This candidate must be located in Jacksonville area.
