Description
Challenging career for Unix System administrator in a major Telecom Company.Requirements are as follows: Worked on Sun Platform for at least three years with good knowledge on various versions of Solaris. Also, have sound knowledge on various Sun Platforms. Good understanding on Jumpstart, sendmail, veritas backup, Solaris volume manager, veritas volume manager, working knowledge on Sun/Veritas Cluster. Implemented some of the security best practices. Also, has working knowledge on Sun LDAP. Network Engineer II is responsible for complex and diverse network platforms/topologies within a network management center or organization. Provides technical support by analyzing hardware and/or software data, identifying the root cause of the problem and developing/implementing hardware and/or software solutions. Responsible for design, integration, operation and management of complex enterprise networks, linking a variety of platforms, operating systems, network topologies and network protocols. Makes recommendations related to network architecture, evaluation of hardware and software products and problem resolution.df-tc
