support the technical capabilities for ASPs clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining 24/7 mission critical systems on Windows, Linux, AIX,
and Solaris environments
Extensive experience with designing, implementing and supporting an EMC/Brocade
SAN environment
Provide support for standard server software including, but not limited to Active
Directory, Group Policies, MS-SQL, Citrix, Terminal Services, VMware ESX, MS
SNA, MS HIS, Legato Networker, Symantec Anti-Virus, BEA Tuxedo, IBM
Websphere MQ, Shavlik , PatchLink
Configure, design, analyze, recommend, install and integrate servers and software
Analyze, modify, and enhance operating systems, computer operations procedures,
and system security
Interact with hardware and software vendors to assure timely resolution to any
issues
Develop and implement procedures for ensuring proactive maintenance of the
production, backup and test environments
Provide production on-call support
Automate monitoring functions where possible
Coordinate with Project Management on customer installs and upgrades
Ensure disaster recovery functions/updates are completed
Assist Customer Service in diagnosing applications and customer issues
Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports for capacity planning, monitoring and SLA
compliance
Research, recommend and implement new technologies
Mentor less experienced Engineers

Experience/Skills
Extensive Windows, Linux, AIX and Sun Solaris experience in a HA environment
Experience implementing and supporting EMC SAN
Experience deploying and supporting Active Directory and Group Policies
Experience deploying and supporting an effective patch management solution
Scripting experience (Unix and/or Windows)
Well rounded knowledge in information security
Windows and/or Linux clustering experience a plus
Enterprise data center experience preferred
Enterprise backup software experience preferred
Minimum of 6 + years information technology experience
Demonstrated ability to resolve complex troubleshooting issues
Self motivated, goal oriented and meticulous individual, who can adhere to
departmental process and procedures and able to work with minimal supervision
Able to multi-task and manage changing priorities to meet demands of internal and
external customers
Demonstrate ability to contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork through
collaborative behavior and open communications
Excellent analytical, communication (verbal and writing) skills; process-oriented
