Unix Systems Administrator - up to 80K - Cleveland, OH - No relo, No sponsorship GREAT COMPANY TO WORK FOR!Position Responsibilities: Performance of the Companys Sun Solaris Unix and Linux operating systems and associated programs; Participating in the maintenance and implementation of the Sun Solaris Unix and Linux systems and programs; Architecting and implementing enterprise measurement platforms HP OpenView; Executing major tasks in the planning, design and implementation of changes; Serving as a technical liaison between the technical staff and the client community in addressing issues and requirements; Performing strategic analysis and applying advanced principles, theories and concepts to s; Acting as a consultant on the feasibility and implementation of information technology. Experience Required: Experience with server hardware and software on Sun Solaris; Experience with HP OpenView, various Linux platforms and Virtualization with VMWare and associated products; Experience with Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Clustering, LAN and WAN topologies, protocols, and troubleshooting; Working knowledge of enterprise SAN Technologies; Programming skills with C++ and Perl; Experience performing D/R responsibilities including planning and implementation, as well as participating in long term projects. Education Required: Bachelors Degree with 7+ years of experience in related fields, OR; 10+ years of equivalent experience.
