User Interface Designer

cPanel is looking for someone who eats, sleeps, and drinks userinterface design. The designer will be on the front lines, working tomodernize cPanel's user interfaces. If you like to work hard, enjoy afree lunch, and love to be a part of a team, this is the job for you!

Qualifications:

• US work eligibility
• Personal portfolio site
• Thorough understanding of user centered design methodolgies and implementation for user interface design
• 5 years HTML/CSS coding experience (tableles Web design)
• 3 years successful experience in user interface and Web design
• Knowledge of rapid prototype/wireframing programs: Balsamic, Visio, iPlotz, etc
• Present a professional, team-first attitude
• Have excellent organizational and time management skills
• Working knowledge of general Web hosting principles and practices:
  • Bandwidth
  • FTP
  • Domains/Subdomains

Special consideration will be given to candidates with the following skills:

• Configuration and troubleshooting of:
  • cPanel
  • WHM
• WebHosting experience

Job Duties:

• Creates personas, workflows, wireframes, and prototypes for cPanel products and systems.
• Creates graphics for cPanel products and other cPanel systems including but not limited to.
• Documenting repeated issues
• Coordinating with management and other departments to share knowledge
• Responding to posts by members in our online community
• Policing spam in our online community
• Acting as a moderator in our online community
• Contributing documentation on a regular basis
• Online Blogging/Writing
• Social Media Outreach via other online communities
• Customer service
