Description
Me.dium is looking for an experienced User Interface Engineer to function as a key member in a talented team. We're building the next big thing on the web. You'll want to make it feel super-intuitive for our users. You'll work closely with product management and engineering to help the teams get great functional products built fast and you'll help define, drive and implement style guidelines across the team.

Requirements:
* Experience with user testing and workflow design
* Expertise in Java, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX (DoJo a plus)
* Experience crafting efficient, optimized, and speed-minded code
* Ability to create interfaces that are fast and consistent across browsers
* 3+ years of experience building web or desktop applications
* Experience in maintaining a consistent user experience across product lines
* Be a pixel-perfectionist
* BS or BFA in any field

Bonus Points:
* Relevant experience includes self-started personal projects (especially browser addons)
* Heavy social-web user
* A love of speed and energy and travel
* Appreciation for English post-punk sounds from '80-'84 (or a better music taste than us so we can rip your tunes)
