ACS Government Health Care is seeking candidates with experience in large scale government health care engagements. We are currently seeking a User Interface Team Lead to assist in the implementation of a Medicaid Management Information System. This role has responsibility for the integration and deployment of the ACS solution into the customer environment.

Functional Description:


Help manage and distribute work to other developers

Manage a mixture of PowerBuilder and Java developers for the User Interface
Help Developers troubleshoot issues
Do administrative functions for team such as reviews, time off etc
Accurately estimate work effort and complete assignments on schedule
Able to work in a distributed team environment.
Occasionally, may provide guidance and assists in training of less experienced staff
Function as a client/server developer and maintains existing this includes definition of data model, application design and development, and conducting end-user support and training support, as necessary.
Assist in the development of product and service offerings in the area of client/server applications
Code, test and debug programs
Assist in production of user documentation as necessary
Conduct walkthroughs of design and code for client and team peers as necessary


Education and Typical Years Experience

Preferred:

4 year college degree
Experience with data modeling
Experience with PowerBuilder Foundation Class or a custom equivalent
Experience with related development tools
Knowledge and experience in the area of health care claims processing
Experience with common office automation software including MS Word, Excel, Access etc
Knowledge of MQ Series
Experience in coding in Java or J2EE applications
