Description
JCPenney Information Technology has an immediate opening in the Buena Park, CA facility for a User Support Representative. The User Support Rep provides assistance to associates in the development, installation, training and application software installed for Logistics and Store Support Center.

Responsibilities:
1. Assists associates to resolve installation and operating problems with computer software and/or related.
2. Assists the User Support Representative III and / Department Management in distributing workload.
3. Visits user locations and assists associates in improving utilization of the software by:
4. Providing on-site corrective action as required.
5. Establishes and maintains a good rapport with associates, personnel and other associates in related
6. Support departments.
7. Communicates with equipment/software vendors and other JCP support departments, as required, for the resolution of problems.
8. Maintains log (of problems reported and steps taken to resolve them) on computer terminals or forms
9. Provided for this purpose. Identifies and reports major problem trends.
10. Recommends changes to procedures, application software.
11. Conducts the training of associates.
12. Helps prepare technical documentation.
13. Identifies and reports major problem trends.

Qualifications:
1. High school graduate
2. 1-2 year of job related experience.
3. Ability to orally communicate in a clear and concise manner.
4. Must possess a logical thought process that will permit comprehension required to interpret, identify and offer resolutions to problems via available written procedures.
5. Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and functional knowledge of common desktop software and hardware applications

Shift: 2nd Sunday - Thursday, 3:30 pm - 12 midnight; flexible to work weekends or change hours

Salary range: $11.00 - $17.00df-tc
