REQUIRED GENERAL SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering preferred. Two to three years experience in large enterprise environment.

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT

This individual will be responsible for working as part of a programming team that provides support and development services. There are 100+ customers that use the computer systems. There are over 30+ applications with additional minor and ad-hoc applications. Applications were developed using a variety of tools including ASP/MTS, VB, Microsoft Access, PowerBuilder, and Crystal Reports.

The customers are located throughout the country but primarily in St. Louis.

The primary customer group:
Operates as an independent business as part of the Media branch in the Marketing Division. Uses computer systems that purchase and track over $400 million in media advertising and help grow the business.

This individual will work closely with the application team in the planning and tracking of work assignments.

Work as part of the team to migrate systems currently in Microsoft Access to Visual Basic or VB.NET. Define new requirements and design additional solutions and enhancements. Be responsible for development and support of existing media buying systems.

The candidate that is selected will be available for off-hours support & overtime as necessary.
