Education
Bachelor s degree in computer science and at least 7+ years of programming experience
Microsoft MCSD (Certified Solutions Developer) (preferred)
Technical Knowledge
Client/Server, User Interface Design, Software Design, Software Debugging, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Software Requirements, Hardware Interfacing, Visual Basic .NET Programming, VB Scripting, ASP.NET, MS SQL 2000, UML
Experience
Developing Win Forms/console applications.
Should have good skills on Data modeling/Normalization. data migration projects involving SQL Server and Sybase.
Should have worked on MS SQL SERVER 2000 DTS packages/SQL Agents/Replication.
Strong knowledge on performance tuning of queries.
Candidate must also have the ability to:

Develop software applications and modules in accordance with specifications and standards

Confirm program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes
Provide reference for use by help desk by writing and maintaining user documentation
Experience in development of financial applications preferred
