Description
Our client is seeking a Senior VMS Administrator for a three-year contract assignments in either their West Norrition, PA or Lyndhurst, NJ locations.

Candidates will assist with the accelerated migration of consolidated VMS systems on the Alpha HW platform to Itanium VMS 8.3 platform, support other migration activities and act as a Senior VMS System Administrators and assist with the daily support and maintenance of internal production, development, and testing systems running the VMS operating system at the data centers.

Experience/Skills
Consultants will have extensive experience in technical project management, VMS administration including hardware setup, product installation, network (TCPIP and DecNet) configuration, and security setup. The consultant must be a senior level self-starter and should have experience with most or all of the following: Current versions of VMS; HP Alpha/Integrity Server hardware; VMS clusters, fiber attached storage and production support of large mission critical environments supporting multi-tier architecture.
