VMware/Storage Solutions Architect - Virtualization/SAN SME

National VMware, NetApp, and EMC Partner has an immediate need for a VMware/Storage Delivery Engineer to help cover their Midwest clients (IL, WI, IN, OH, & Michigan).

If you are a VMware/Storage Solutions Engineer, Delivery Engineer or Systems Engineer with excellent experience/knowledge of VMware & Storage products, please read on!

What you need for this position:
- In depth working knowledge of VMware products
- In depth working knowledge of NetApp and/or EMC products
- Solid experience in Windows Server operating systems, including installation and configuration of SQL Server
- In depth understanding of enterprise datacenter technologies including networking, security, NAS, physical datacenter practices
- Strong experience with IP-based and Fiber networking for SAN/NAS technologies
- Experience with Cisco UCS (Nexus, MDS, etc.) a big plus.
- Experience with Citrix and/or Hyper-V is a plus.
- Any relevant certifications are a plus: NCIE, VCP, VCDX, MCSE, etc.
- Ability to travel 20-30% of the time
- Bachelors Degree

What you'll be doing:
- Act as a subject matter expert in the design, implementation and support of Storage and Virtualization solutions.
- Be the go-to Solutions Engineer providing Virtualization and/or Storage architectures from inception to delivery.
- Designing and implementing complex system configuration and standards for x86 platforms at an expert level in diverse, demanding customer environments.
