VMware/Storage Solutions Architect - Virtualization/SAN SME


Top 5 U.S. based VMware & NetApp Partner has an immediate need for a VMware/NetApp Solutions Architect. You can be based anywhere in the United States and will have the opportunity to act as the SME to enterprise clients throughout the country.

If you are a VMware/Storage Solutions Architect with excellent experience/knowledge of VMware & NetApp products, please read on!


What you need for this position:

- In depth working knowledge of VMware products
- In depth working knowledge of NetApp products
- Solid experience in Windows Server operating systems, including installation and configuration of SQL Server
- In depth understanding of enterprise datacenter technologies including networking, security, NAS, physical datacenter practices
- Strong experience with IP-based and Fiber networking for SAN/NAS technologies
- Experience with Cisco UCS a big plus.
- Any relevant certifications are a plus: NCIE, VCP, VCDX
- Ability to travel 50-65% of the time


What you'll be doing:

- Act as a subject matter expert in the design, implementation and support of NetApp storage and VMware Virtualization technologies.
- Be the go-to Solutions Engineer providing Virtualization and/or NetApp architectures from inception to delivery.
- Designing and implementing complex system configuration and standards for x86 platforms at an expert level in diverse, demanding customer environments.
