Philadelphia area technology firm specializing in Master Data Management solutions primarily for the Healthcare & Pharmaceutical industries has an immediate need for a strategic and hands-on Database expert who can help advance the companies Database & Data Management initiatives.

What you need for this position:
- 10-15 years experience within IT
- Strong experience with Databases in transactional environments
- Technical experience within the Healthcare, Biotech, and/or Pharmaceutical industries
- Preference to candidates with working knowledge of MDM Tools/Applications such as DataFlux, Siperian, Initiate Systems MDM, IBM InfoSphere MDM, SAP MDM, TIBCO CIM, Oracle MDM Suite
- Working knowledge of Data Quality Management practices and tools such as DataFlux, Trillium, Business Objects/First Logic, Informatica/Similarity Systems is preferred
- Experience with Siebel CTMS strongly preferred
- Proficiency in working with J2EE and/or . NET environments and development tools
- Understanding of service-oriented architectures and system integration methods
- Experience with full life cycle development projects and Agile development methodologies
- Experience Managing teams of 8-15 people
- BS degree

What you'll be doing:
- Leading a team of 12-15 Information Technology Admins/Engineers
- Define, re-design and develop best practices for entire Database environment
- Define, re-design and develop Master Data Entity Models
- Design and develop taxonomies for data entity categorizations and relationships
- Define and develop data attributes and their respective characteristics
- Design and develop metadata definitions and storage management
- Define, design, and develop data quality management approach, data rules, and implementation
- Define and design source to target system interfaces for Master and Reference Data Entities
- Design, development, testing, and maintenance of data validation rules for standards and compliance enforcement
- Design, development, testing, and maintenance of master data security controls
- Design, development, and testing of master data event tracking and audit logs
