VP of Sales ? Market Intelligence Solutions, Reston VA
Driving Strategy and Execution of Sales Organization for the company. 30 year old Company is the leading provider of Govt Market Intelligence solutions, with 80 of the top 100 Govt IT contractors as clients, as well as all of the top 10 systems integrators, and a total of over 1,000 clients. Looking for VP of Sales to drive current team of Sales Managers, Field Reps and inside reps. Reports directly to CEO
Base target 175K, OTE 325K
***please pay close attention to the requirements, we cannot submit you unless it?s a match of 85% or better
- must have exp managing a total of 50 people or more (sales + sales mgmt) ? (*50+ is a must, not a nice to have)
- 10+ years of total sales mgmt exp or more
- At least 3 years in Sales Mgmt for an Information Consultancy, ASP, or other subscription-based technology company
- Exp developing/setting sales strategy, pricing, etc as opposed to just implementation of these
- Must have exp with a transactional sales environment, not just huge deals (deals here will range from 5K to 200K, avg 20-50K)
- Must live in DC area or willing to relocate here
- Some exposure to public sector is a plus, but must have 60% or more of experience in commercial spacedf-tc
