JOB SUMMARY -

The principle responsibilities of this position involve managing the validation process for changes made to the global Safety Surveillance System (S3), by working closely with the Wyeth IS/Application Support organization and users in Global Safety Surveillance & Epidemiology (GSSE).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES -

1.Develop validation test objectives and validation protocols to ensure computer application
enhancements/fixes meet business requirements and specifications. Work with application developers
and system testers in the IT organization during development of validation test strategies and scripts.

2.Schedule users to execute validation test scripts, observe this process, and collect/review all documentation to ensure completeness.

3.Communicate effectively with the Training group, providing information about upcoming changes to the computer application.

4.Communicate effectively with users, providing notification about system unavailability and
description of deployments to production, and during development of application requirements as
applicable.

5.Maintain Change Control documentation in accordance with SOPs and company methodology.

Basic Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or Engineering.

1-2 years experience in an FDA-regulated industry, drug safety experience preferred. Effective verbal and written communication
skills are essential. Computer system validation experience helpful.
