Desired qualifications include:

We are looking for an experienced Veritas Specialist with extensive field experience in a wide range of Enterprise Computing environments, specializing in the areas of High Availability, Storage Management, Disaster Recovery, Data Protection and migration.

Desired Qualification:

Expertise in the following line of Veritas Software products is required- Foundation Suite/Storage Foundation, Volume Replicator, Cluster Server, Database Edition/Advanced Cluster for Oracle 9i RAC, Global Cluster Manager/GCO, and Volume Manager & Cluster Server in Solaris environment. In addition, the candidate:

-should have deployed high-availability clusters using Veritas Cluster Server in a wide variety of environments and circumstances.

- should have Configured and recommended Best Practices approaches to storage configurations using Volume Manager in environments from D1000s to EMC disk-arrays.

-should have implemented many disaster recovery scenarios using a variety of Veritas Software products requiring custom work as well for proper automation.

-should have Clustered and Designed NetBackup environments, and advised clients on preferred practices on backup network topologies, technologies, and configurations.
