Vice president of Program Management Office (PMO) will be primarily responsible for Project Management Governance and Oversight and will partner with and support all business units in the execution and continued refinement of a standard project methodology and reporting process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand the business units and business plans and requirements and partner with lines of business and support organizations (ie, Finance, IT, Business Standards, Compliance, Legal, Training, HR and external partners) to develop solutions to address the needs and enable the organization to achieve the short- and long-term goals and objectives.
Assist with the development (or enhancement) of standard project management methodologies to maximize the effectiveness while minimizing the burden to ensure flawless execution of initiatives across the organization. This will include, but not limited to the development of comprehensive plans to include all affected parties and areas, strict governance and change control process.
Lead and mentor the project managers in the department, lines of business, as well as support organizations to institute the PMO standard methodology, governance and change management structure, and successfully manage the initiatives to achieve the desired outcomes. This will include, but not limited to ensuring all key levers, business indicators, and risks are identified and all contingencies are put in place to address the situations as they arise throughout the project life cycle.
Develop and manage a reporting process to communicate plans, accomplishments, progress/status, issues, and concerns, as well as risks, contingencies, and potential solutions with all key stakeholders from the CEO office to the front-line staff.
Develop self, direct reports, the extended staff (ie, matrixed- managed Project Managers) to achieve their personal and organizational goals and objective, as well as creating a bench strength of ready-to-lead leaders to enable the organization for quantum leaps.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
The organization is relatively new, and while the basic concepts will remain the same, but specific roles and responsibilities will evolve over time; flexibility is the key.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and mentor the staff, project managers in the department and support organizations .
Develop self, direct reports, the extended staff (ie, matrixed- managed Project managers) to achieve their personal and organizational goals and objective.
Create a bench strength of ready-to-lead leaders to enable the organization for quantum leaps.
Develop and set the goals for the department and manage Smart Goals and ensure adherence to processes, policies and procedures, including HR, Financials, and Compliance by self and all direct and extended staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Minimum of a 4 year degree in Industrial Engineering (IE), Business Management or related field is required.
Masters degree in IE, MBA or related fields is strongly preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
5 to 10 years of leadership skills, leading direct and indirect staff.
At least 5 years of program office and project management skills, leading multi-facet, large-scale projects across the organization or several departments, including Operations, IT and Training, and Human Resources.
At least 5 years of years of identify or addressing business needs and developing solutions to move the organization to the next level of performance
At least 5 years of strong, hands on management in reporting, financials, presentation, and using Microsoft Office and other tools.
5 Plus years of Financial Industry experience especially in servicing.

Knowledge Mortgage, especially Mortgage Servicing is a plus
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :
AMP, PMO, Black Belt or other relevant certification is a plus
