Description
Reporting to the CIO, this position is responsible for the entire Information Technology Operations area including: Telecommunications, Data Communications, Data Center, Help Desk and Deskside Support.

You will lead the team of IT professionals responsible for previously mentioned areas to meet the operational expectations of the business and implement the overall IT strategy. You will also cultivate strategic vendor relationships to leverage their specialized knowledge and expertise. You will be a member of the IT Leadership Team developing and implementing the Information Technology Strategic Plan.

Responsibilities

Develop IT plans & budget that support both the short- and long-term business objectives of the organization
Lead a team of IT professionals responsible for Data Center, Network (voice and data) and Customer Care (help desk and deskside support)
Meet Service Level Agreements
Strategic management of global voice and data communications for the corporation
Support HQ and regional office infrastructure needs
Development & implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans
Continuous process improvement to continually improve efficiency
Identification and implementation of solutions appropriate for a very dynamic business model
Implementation of project deliverables on schedule and within budget
Integration of IT infrastructure for acquisitions
Bachelors (4-year) Degree in a Business Management, Engineering, or an IT Discipline
A minimum of 12 years directly relevant experience in a technology operations management role, including significant time in an international, fast-moving technology-based business.
Demonstrated leadership in a senior level IT/eBusiness operational role. This must include direct supervisory experience - demonstrating the ability to energize and motivate others and take organizations through considerable change
Outstanding communications skills -- must be proficient in communicating to all levels of the organization both written and verbal, in person and virtually
Demonstrated successful large project management expertise (in excess of $5M USD); including the ability to manage multiple, global project teams to deliver business value
Ability to translate between technology and business terms.
Depth of understanding of contemporary, high performance web technologies utilized for large-scale e-commerce systems
Depth of understanding in cross-functional business processes, as well as the understanding of how to use technology to make the business more effective.
Strong organizational and financial analytical abilities
Knowledge and experiences with ITIL processes, developing information controls including SOX compliance
Extensive experience in a Microsoft technologies-based environment
Experience managing a distributed IT (international) workforce and offices
