Position Overview: They are currently looking for a Director of Sales - Software Services. The Candidate will be responsible for Sales in North America. The clients would include companies from the IT, Manufacturing, Satellite Services, Cable, Media, Telecom and other sectors. Main Responsibilities: . Extensive proven contact database throughout North America. Hands on experience in sales of software services to large IT companies in North America. The candidate should have a proven track record of selling software services to Fortune 500 companies in North America. . Design business development models for entering new markets and redesigning of participation models for moderate and stable markets. Responsible for developing a sales and marketing plan for software services. . Strong leadership and management skills with emphasis on sales processes and account management, maximizing all opportunities. . Exceptional territory development, customer and closing skills, ensuring repeat business and referenceable installations. . Execution of strategies for increasing customer retention, revenue growth and sales software services. Framing and execution of effective sales plan, strategy, budget and establishing targets with senior management. Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction. . Evaluate the financial aspects of software development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections. . Liaison between Sales and IT. Consult with IT Departments, Service delivery teams on software specifications such as designing, application and others. . Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings to determine company's target market; advise business and other groups on local, national, and international factors affecting the buying and selling of software services. . Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote software services, working with advertising and promotion managers. Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors. . Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of software services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends. Desired Experience: . More than 7-8 years of experience in IT Sales. . At least 2-3 years of hands on experience in IT sales in North America at a senior level. . Understanding of business applications, contemporary business solutions and domain knowledge required. . Building up strategic alliances. . Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and delivery managers, to market software services.df-tc
