Opportunity:

Our client is seeking a senior level person who will head up the Company's Sales efforts in the US. This position demands prior success in direct C-level sales and dealing with investors and customers. The VP of Sales should be capable of leveraging world class strategic partnerships and alliances to maximize revenue for the organization?s suite of enterprise software applications.

Position Description:

- Demonstrated experience in selling enterprise software, especially new applications.
- Proven track record of establishing successful relationships across senior level functions, especially in retail and manufacturing industries.
- Ability to articulate solution value and competitive differentiation in an emerging market.
- Ability to close license or subscription contracts, versus account management or business development.

Competencies/ Skills:

- Ability to operate effectively in a start-up environment.
- Strategic thinking ability and a capacity to plan, execute and close product plans and programs.
- Capable of selling across functions outside of IT (business level sale)
- Experience in selling solutions at a CXO level, especially in supply chain management or retail technologies
- Outstanding planning and time management skills, with the ability to build a strong team.
- Ability to perform as a team player in a highly demanding environment.
- Board level credibility and a strong business and technical acumen.
- Consultative sales style with specific domain knowledge of enterprise software applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in successfully closing sales and meeting multi-million dollar quotas.


Educational Background:

Bachelor?s Degree / MBA preferred.df-tc
