Video Programmer - Engineer - Developer - HD - AVI - MPEG - Flash - Quick Time - Video Playback - Work from Home Office

A company that is in the process of building a very large cross platform networked software application is in need of a Video Programmer. This is highly secretive in nature and will be discussed in further detail with the right applicant(s).

This position is based out of your home office preferably on the West Coast.

Experience Required:
- Familiarity with all video formats including HD, AVI, MPEG 1, 2, 4, Flash and Quick Time
- Ability to write a video encoder and decoder
- Video playback for a PC, cell phone and on the Web
- Expertise in writing code for editing video, maintaining video sync to audio
- Screen capture techniques
- Remote control of PC and other computer device desktops
- The conversion of animation and the motion capture of computer graphical operations to video formats
- How to capture portions of videos as independent video objects and play them in a computer environment under user control, VOiP (video over IP) and chat protocols - Skype and AIM, 3rd party plug-in architectures and APIs, format conversion
- Import and export to and from 3rd party video platforms using AVID and Final Cut Pro
- Understanding of computer layering systems to allow annotation and placing of graphical objects on top of a video stream
- Create and operate video outside of a widget, understanding of non-rectangular video streams.
