Virtualization/Infrastructure Project Manager

Our client is seeking a 6 mo. contract only opportunity, a skilled Project Manager for a Virtualization/Infrastructure related assignment.

Our customer, located in NYC, would allow a remote resources for this unique opportunity. The qualified Virtualization Project Manager would support the customer who is going through a large Data Center conversion of Servers - so it is important that the candidate comes from Infrastructure and Virtualization projects.

Day-to-day responsibility will involve the consolidation of Servers (SUN, Windows, and HP-UX) and will support several cross-platforms (.Net, Oracle, and UNIX. )

Excellent communication skills will be required as there will be frequent interfaces with vendors (hosts.) There will be some travel (2-3 times over 6 month engagement).
