We-re looking for the very rare individual who combines strong automated testing script experience using Quick Test Pro and Visual Basic scripting. This Quality Assurance Analyst should have SQL programming expertise, exceptional learning ability, personal and professional maturity, and willingness to grow into increasingly challenging roles. Our client is looking for two (2) Quality Assurance (QA) Testers to be an integral part of their Visual Basic Development team supporting thousands of customers. You can bring value by using your skills to perform the QA testing on new development in an existing web application. The candidate must have proven skills testing software in Visual Basic applications. We-re looking for QA Analysts who thoroughly understands: transaction processing software; testing concepts and techniques; and various levels of testing scenarios.

It will be the Candidate-s role to design and create the overall testing approach for the B2C System. Candidate must be comfortable establishing project wide quality assurance and testing guidelines, standards, measurements, and quality reviews for the entire project cycle. Candidate must have demonstrated the ability to create unit, system, acceptance, regression, performance, and parallel test environments. This application will interface with the client-s legacy source systems, across multiple databases and operating environments.

Technical Requirements:
- 5+ years of Information Technology experience
- 1+ years experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst
- 1+ years programming SQL (PL/SQL preferred)
- Expertise writing/reviewing detailed use cases and scripts
- Executing test plans, test cases and test scripts both manual and automated is required
- Experience writing scripts in Unix, command line knowledge
- Experience creating QA guidelines, standards, measurements, and quality indices
- General knowledge of development lifecycles, testing lifecycles is required
- Strong business analysis skills and excellent communication skills
- Expertise in relational database review
- Proficient with MS Office suite
- Highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills dedicated to complete tasks on schedule
- Skilled at creating test data for unit, system, and acceptance test scripts
- Teamwork attitude

Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of automated testing tools (experience with Quicktest Pro a plus)
- 1+ year Load/Stress testing using Grinder and Python

Educational Skills
- BS or BA, desirable. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or relevant analytical field.
