Description
Incredible position for a VoIP Engineer in north county san diego. This well-established company offers many benefits and is looking for the right, highly qualified person to join their team. The Network Engineer will be involved with research and recommendations and be responsible for installation, monitoring and maintenance of all network equipment both internal and external for both data and voice systems. The candidate will perform local and wide area network design, implementation, documentation and support including routing, VPN and firewall connectivity. An in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and VoIP are required. REQUIREMENTS: 1.Knowledge of WAN technologies 2. Exp. with vendors like Cisco & Lucent 3. Exp. with network mgmt tools like Snort & MARS 4. Exp. with network security tools like IDS & Firewall 5. Exp. defining and implementing network security and auditing network security compliance 6. Knowledge and exp. in routing 7. Exp. with Telecom switches and/or PBX's including PSTN connectivity 8. Must be willing to adapt and learn in a fast paced and changing environment and one who has the ability to lead and manage complex network projects. Need a BS in a technology related field.df-tc
